A kitchen garden provides produce such as herbs, tomatoes and blueberries for the adventurous menus of head chef Anthony Paris. For quiet sanctuary, there’s a leafy sculpture garden, or meet up for alfresco drinks in the convivial Crosby Bar. Further amenities include a guest drawing room, fully-equipped gym and state-of-the-art screening room.
Spring and autumn are the best time to visit; summers can be hot and humid and winters cold, although pre-Christmas shopping in the city is a magical experience
